2 Cria Born at Elm Park

Busy weekend for Elmpark!

Saturday Red Hill Alpacca Show , Colin took 5 Alpacas to the Showgrounds we were very happy with our results! See Here.

Meanwhile with me at home we had 2 Cria Born!

The first was a textbook birth. Jayla gave Birth to Elm Park Winnie a beautiful little Brown Girl.

A little later Nicolette decided she was ready everything was going well untill I realised this one had one leg stuck , after a couple of phone calls and asking the neighbour Vince to jump the fence so he could hold her , his kids were already in the paddock with me as they were watching the first birth I was being guided by my wonderful friend and mentor Lynda Holdsworth!

Needless to say it was a sucess and my first intervention and soon after a beautiful white girl was born
